All is set for the second edition of Guinea Fintech Week scheduled for October 23-24, 2024 in Conakry to stimulate dialogues and chart the way forward for the future of Fintech in the West African region.
According to the organisers, the Fintech will bring together key players in financial technology to explore the latest trends and innovations that are transforming the digital economy of Guinea and West Africa.
Following the success of the first edition, Guinea Fintech Week 2024 is poised to be even more enriching, with a rich and varied program including conferences, workshops, discussion panels and networking sessions.
The event aims to foster collaboration between start-ups, investors, financial institutions, regulators and technology experts.
The theme for the 2024 edition is “Fintech Innovations for Sustainable Financial Inclusion“, while the highlights of the gathering include discussion panels, practical workshorps, fintech expos and networking
The organisers have equally unveiled the rich list of thought leaders and speakers lined up for the programme.
As per the pre-event press statement, confirmed speakers and panelists for the summit include Mr. Chupeau Arthur, Managing Partner of The Baobab Network, Kenya, Nairobi; Mr. Sea Alex, Founder and Director of Africa Fintech Forum, Abidjan, Ivory Coast; Mr. Matteo Rizzi, CEO FTS Group & Bamboo Capital Partner, Lisbon, Portugal; Dr.Oumar Rafiou Barry, Founder and President of BNB Transfer Corp, USA; Dr. Diyé Dia, Co-founder of ARISTARC, Dakar, Senegal; and Mr. Boum III Jr, CEO and Co-founder of Daba Finance, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

The organisers say tegistration for Guinea Fintech Week 2024 is now open. While they hinted that space is limited, they encouraged interested members of the public to register using a link.

Guinea Fintech Week is an annual event dedicated to the promotion and development of financial technologies in Guinea and West Africa.
