In a spirited gathering celebrating national pride and entrepreneurial ambition, Tripoint Travels, the official logistics partner of GEN Nigeria, hosted a pre-departure brunch for Nigerian delegates attending the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) 2025.

Held at Tripoint’s Lagos headquarters, the exclusive event brought together a distinguished mix of founders, investors, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders.

The attendees include Dr. Peter Bamkole (Deputy Vice Chancellor, Pan Atlantic University), Dr. Olawale Anifowose (Managing Director, GEN Nigeria), Dr. Babangida Ruma (Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency), Mrs. Uche Uzoebo (CEO, SANEF), and actor and influencer Umar Gombe, among others. All eyes are now set on Indianapolis, Indiana, where GEC 2025 will take place from June 2–5.

This year marks the event’s long-awaited return to the U.S., in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC).

Building Bridges Before Takeoff

The brunch provided a platform for delegates to connect, share ideas, and align visions ahead of the global gathering. It was also a symbolic sendoff celebrating Nigeria’s growing influence on the world’s entrepreneurial stage.

“The Global Entrepreneurship Congress is more than a conference—it’s where global innovation meets local action,” said Mrs. Shuhda Muhammed, Founder of Tripoint Travels.

“We wanted to set the tone for our delegates—to help them connect to this year’s theme, The Bold Change the World, and to each other,” she added.

Tripoint Travels, known for its excellence in travel logistics, is handling the full scope of the Nigerian delegation’s journey—from visa processing to flight, accommodation, and ground logistics. More than a travel agency, the company positions itself as a catalyst for empowerment and opportunity.

Championing Nigeria’s Entrepreneurial Future

Speaking at the event, Dr. Olawale Anifowose described the GEC as both a global platform and a growth engine. “Nigeria’s participation isn’t just symbolic—it’s strategic,” he said. “We are building connections, exchanging ideas, and spotlighting our capacity to lead on the global stage.”

Dr. Anifowose praised Tripoint Travels as a “trusted partner” that has helped make Nigeria’s presence at GEC 2025 a reality. GEN Nigeria, through its national programs and partnerships, continues to support grassroots entrepreneurship and inclusive economic growth.

Among this year’s delegates is Mr. Rotimi Awofisibe, Managing Director of VFD Bank, whose selection reflects the depth and diversity of Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

“We’re proud to support the entrepreneurs shaping Nigeria’s future,” added Mrs. Muhammed. “Attending GEC is about learning, connecting, and returning with a broader, renewed vision—and we’re committed to making that journey seamless.”

Empowerment Beyond Travel

Tripoint Travels extends its impact through Tripoint Academy, its nonprofit initiative that provides training, mentorship, and opportunities for early-stage entrepreneurs. Its partnership with GEN Nigeria aligns with a broader mission: to use travel as a tool for national development and individual transformation.

“Every ticket we issue is a bridge—from where someone is, to where they’re meant to be,” said Mrs. Muhammed. “We don’t just book trips; we open the world to Nigerian entrepreneurs.”

A Creative Touch

The event’s highlight was an interactive group art session, where delegates collaborated on a single piece symbolizing Nigerian multiculturalism and entrepreneurial spirit. The artwork, embodying the essence of the Nigerian delegation, will be exhibited and gifted at a special GEC 2025 event.

As preparations continue, the delegates—armed with vision, purpose, and powerful partnerships—are ready to carry Nigeria’s entrepreneurial story to a global audience.
