NGX Group to re-energise Africans with ‘The Stock Africa Is Made Of’ campaign

The Nigerian Exchange Group (Plc) formerly Nigerian Stock Exchange given a heads up about a new campaign it intends to re-energise Africans and validate the success stories of the continent.
The campaign is titled ‘The Stock Africa Is Made Of’, according to a press released signed Olumide Orojimi, the corporate communications manager of the group.
According to the Group, the campaign will showcase the resilience, ambition, result-oriented spirit that makes Africans different. It is also aimed at projecting the new positioning of the NGX Group Plc as well as its subsidiaries to the African financial markets as a leading capital market infrastructure provider, which connects Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
The launch of the campaign is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 18 May 2021 by 12:30pm and will be headlined by the President Muhammadu Buhari.
Other speakers expected to grace the occasion are Dr. Zainab Ahmed, Honourable Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Federal Republic of Nigeria; Mr. Lamido Yuguda, Director-General, Securities and Exchange Commission; Otunba Abimbola Ogunbanjo, Group Chairman, NGX Group Plc; Oscar N. Onyema, GMD/GCEO, NGX Group Plc and Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chairman, Dangote Group.
Other include Tony Elumelu, Chairman, Heirs Holdings; Masai Ujiri, President, Toronto Raptors;Temi Popoola, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited; and Ms. Tinuade Awe, CEO, NGX Regulation (NGX RegCo) Limited.
The event will be moderated by popular OAP veteran Master of Ceremonies, Ik Osakioduwa and will also feature music sensations 2face and Chike.
