FirstBank Commences Construction of State-of-the-Art 40-Story Eco-Friendly Headquarters

FirstBank, a leading financial institution in West Africa, celebrated a momentous occasion today with the groundbreaking ceremony for its new green-certified headquarters in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos.
This ambitious 40-story project is set to become the tallest building in Nigeria, showcasing advanced engineering and environmentally friendly construction techniques that aim to redefine standards within Africa’s financial services sector.

The ceremony marks the initiation of a transformative chapter for FirstBank, underscoring its unwavering commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable practices. Designed with a focus on sustainability, the new headquarters will operate with reduced environmental impact and operational costs, reinforcing FirstBank’s position as a pioneer in sustainable banking.
Olusegun Alebiosu, CEO of FirstBank Group, stated, “We take pride in reaching this significant milestone in our journey toward excellence. The event heralds an exciting new chapter in FirstBank’s illustrious history, further solidifying its leadership role in the African financial landscape.
