I Didn't Get Contract Since Buhari Became President— Tinubu Blows Hot National Leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) and presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has opened a can of worms in his recent visit to Abeokuta. At the Presidential Lodge at Abeokuta where he met with Ogun state delegate on Thursday, Bola Tinubu disclosed that despite his efforts to champion the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari as president, he didn't get any contract or make anybody minister in the current administration. He mentioned that the president offered him the vice presidential slot in 2015 but the idea was rejected by those fanning the embers of religious sentiments. "You have not heard this from me before. This is the first place I am saying this. If not me that led the war front, Buhari wouldn’t have emerged. He contested first, second and third times, but lost. He even said on television that he won’t contest again. But I went to his home in Katsina. I told him you would contest and win, but you won’t joke with the matters of the Yorubas. Since he has emerged I have not been appointed minister. I didn’t get contract. "This time, it’s Yoruba turn and in Yorubaland, it’s my tenure.” The APC chieftain also disclosed that if not for God and him, the incumbent governor of Ogun state wouldn't have become a governor. Tinubu has been widely regarded as a 'kingmaker' as he is believed to wield enough political power to decide the fate of politicians running under the umbrella of APC across the country. He however rejected the tag of a kingmaker, noting that he's determined to rule the country. Bola Tinubu is contesting for the presidential ticket of the ruling party alongside the Vice President, Yemi Osibajo, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Former governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, governor of Kogi state, Governor Yahaya Bello and others.
