Seplat Energy Plc has set N1,360.58/$ as the exchange rate for determining the naira equivalent of its second-quarter 2026 interim and special dividends payable to shareholders who elected to receive their dividends in naira.

The company disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, August 13, 2026, saying the applicable rate is based on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate published by the Central Bank of Nigeria on August 12, 2026.

According to Seplat, the N1,360.58/$ rate will be used to calculate the naira equivalent of both the Q2 2026 interim dividend and the special dividend.

The exchange rate applies specifically to shareholders who have elected to receive their dividend payments in naira, with the company retaining its stated dividend payment procedures for determining the applicable currency.

The announcement provides investors with the benchmark that will be used to determine the naira value of their dollar-denominated dividend entitlement.

The company has a portfolio of 11 Petroleum Mining Leases, 17 Petroleum Prospecting Licences and five Oil Mining Leases across Nigeria’s onshore and shallow-water regions, primarily in the Niger Delta.
