One month into his historic journey from London to Lagos, Nigeria, Kunle Adeyanju has disclosed the date he will arrive in his final destination, Lagos.

The London-To-Lagos biker took to his Twitter page on Thursday to announce May 25 as his Lagos arrival date after the twist and turn that characterized his novel adventure.

Kunle Adeyanju started his journey on 19th April from London to the most populous country in Africa as part of his awareness for eradication of Polio in Nigeria.

His Twitter timeline is full of posts and pictures of different fanfare and challenges he encounters on his way. These timely updates have gotten him a lot of admirers and followers on the microblogging app.

In the space of one month, Kunle Adeyanju had enjoyed tremendous publicity and commendation from online and offline fans for his courageous journey. The already popular biker who is currently in Abidjan received material and monetary donations from people. Meanwhile, A real estate agency in Nigeria has also promised him a piece of land as a welcome gift.

Mr Adeyanju usually attended seminars and conferences organized by Rotary Club in each country he had a stopover in his bid to create awareness for eradication of Polio.

Challenges

However, it was not all rosy for Mr Kunle as he encountered challenges on his historic journey.

One of the challenges faced by Kunle Adeyanju was his rear wheel that got damaged at a point. He noted that he might sell off his motorcycle when he gets to Lagos and donate the proceeds to charity.

Adeyanju also known as the Biker said the sum of N124,000 was extorted from him by police officers and louts at Mauritania. Even though he said he refused to pay, he eventually parted with the money when his bike was seized.

On the 16th, May 2022, Business Metrics reported that Lionheart Biker was denied access to enter Cote d’voire for an undisclosed reason before a swift intervention by the Nigerian in Diaspora Commission which established a contact with the Cote d’voire government to solve the problem for Kunle to proceed on his journey to Nigeria.
