Latest report by Kaspersky has shown that no fewer than two million people suffered from phishing attacks between April and June this year. The cyber security firm said it detected exactly 2,023,501 phishing attacks in South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Nigeria, Rwanda and Ethiopia. It added that a number of new tricks have also been found – from HR dismissal emails to attacks disguised as delivery notifications. Most parents in Nigeria often have conflicts with their children and wards for staying glued to their gadget surfing the Internet, according to Kaspersky.
