Full List as Tinubu Appoints Boards for NCC, USPF

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the composition of new boards for the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF), both under the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.
At the NCC, Idris Olorunnimbe has been appointed Chairman, while Dr Aminu Maida continues as Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held since October 2023.

For the USPF, Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr Bosun Tijani, will serve as Chairman, with Olorunnimbe as Vice Chairman. The full membership is as follows:

The USPF was established to expand access to information and communication technologies in Nigeria’s rural, unserved, and underserved areas, in line with the Federal Government’s universal service goals.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on 12 August 2025 by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
