The 3MTT programme, according to Tijani, is a critical part of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda.

The programme aimed to generate a pipeline of technical talents in line with President Bola Tinubu’s vision of creating two million digital jobs by 2025.

The ministry will select individuals who have expressed interest in acquiring specific skills and will cover the expenses associated with their training.

The technical skills include Software Development, UI/UX Design, Data Analysis and visualisation, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Data Science, Animation, AI/Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Game Development, Cloud Computing, and Dev Ops.

Meanwhile, the Minister stated in another tweet on Monday that applications for the programme by Nigerians was inching towards half a million in just two weeks.

He said “Our country is blessed with talented and good people willing to be part of making it greater. Approaching 500,000 applications to the #3MTT programme, in just 2 weeks.”
