AfDB partners with FG, Microsoft to create 9m jobs in 10 years

The African Development Bank (AfDB) has launched an eLearning Digital platform to create nine million jobs in Africa’s digital economy in the next 10 years. According to a statement from the bank’s website, the Federal Government and Microsoft launched the Digital Nigeria eLearning Platform to provide marketable digital skills for the country’s youth. Just a few hours after the news broke that the much anticipated acquisition of TikTok’s US operation has ended in favour of Oracle, contrasting facts have emerged to create a bewildering understanding of the deal. Enterprise provider Oracle  is said to have won the bidding war for the U.S. operations of TikTok, a chase in which Microsoft was booted from earlier today. A TikTok  spokesperson said the company would not comment on rumors or speculation. Oracle did not immediately respond to media request for comment either.
