Hon. Shina Peller, former lawmaker and entrepreneur, has pledged strategic support for Trovah, a Nigerian digital marketplace seeking to expand access to online shopping and delivery services while helping local businesses reach more customers.
Peller made the commitment during an engagement with the Trovah team on Thursday, October 29, 2026, where he expressed interest in supporting the platform through promotional activities, potential investment and other strategic partnerships.
The former lawmaker, who holds the traditional title of Ayedero of Yorubaland, described Trovah as an example of youth-led innovation and enterprise, highlighting the role of young entrepreneurs in developing technology-driven solutions to everyday challenges.
Peller said he was willing to support Trovah through promotional activities, investment and other strategic partnerships to strengthen its operations and expand its reach.
He commended the team for developing a technology-based business, noting that young Nigerians working on solutions to everyday challenges needed encouragement and support to grow their ventures and contribute to the economy.
His proposed support comes amid growing interest in Nigeria’s digital economy, where technology platforms are creating new channels for businesses to reach consumers, manage transactions and expand their market presence.
Trovah, developed by Jaflah Software Development Company, operates as a digital marketplace connecting consumers with vendors across different product and service categories, including groceries, fashion, electronics, household essentials and hospitality services.
