PalmPay Strengthens Customer Support with New Tools for Safer Digital Banking

palmpay Customer Service Week 2026

As Customer Service Week 2026 gets underway, digital banking platform PalmPay is highlighting a customer service approach that extends beyond responding to complaints to include account protection, transaction security and faster access to support.

The company is marking this year’s Customer Service Week theme, “The Extra Mile,” by spotlighting measures introduced to help customers manage their accounts more securely and receive assistance when they encounter transaction-related issues.

At the centre of the initiative is PalmPay Dey For You, the company’s customer protection campaign, which combines security awareness, proactive safeguards and support tools aimed at helping customers navigate digital banking with greater confidence.

For millions of Nigerians who use digital financial platforms for everyday transactions, the quality of a banking experience increasingly extends beyond whether a payment goes through successfully. Security, access to assistance and the ability to resolve problems when they occur have become important parts of the relationship between customers and digital financial service providers.

PalmPay has introduced a Transaction Dispute Page as part of the tools associated with the PalmPay Dey For You campaign. The platform gives customers a dedicated channel through which they can report transaction-related concerns and follow the progress of their complaints through the resolution process.

The company said the initiative reflects a broader approach to customer service that seeks to provide support throughout the customer’s banking journey rather than only after a problem has occurred.

Speaking on the company’s approach to customer service, Femi Hanson, Head of Marketing, PalmPay Nigeria, said the company’s customer support function is designed to remain responsive to customers when they need assistance with their accounts.

“PalmPay’s customer service remains an important part of the banking experience, providing customers with the support they need with their accounts. Our approach is built around more than resolving complaints. It is about being present when customers need us most and making sure that every customer who reaches out feels supported and prioritised.”

PalmPay has also introduced a range of security features designed to address different transaction scenarios. These include Night Guard, Large Transaction Shield and USSD Account Lock, which provide customers with additional controls for protecting their accounts and transactions.

The measures form part of the company’s broader effort to strengthen customer protection as digital financial services become increasingly embedded in everyday transactions.

The significance of that support is particularly relevant in a market where customers increasingly rely on digital platforms for payments, transfers and other financial activities. As more transactions move online, customer confidence depends not only on the availability of digital services but also on the safeguards and support mechanisms surrounding them.

For PalmPay, Customer Service Week provides an opportunity to draw attention to its 24/7 customer support structure while highlighting the wider systems it has developed around security, dispute resolution and customer assistance.

The company said these measures reflect its commitment to its “The Extra Mile” theme, with customer service extending from resolving enquiries to helping customers remain protected, informed and supported throughout their use of its digital banking services.
