Ghana is set to take centre stage on the continental public administration landscape as the proud host of the 7th Africa Public Sector Conference & Awards (APSCA 2026).
From October 14th -16th, 2026, the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra will welcome governors, ministers, heads of public service, directors-general, C-level executives, and leaders of state-owned enterprises from more than 15 African nations for this landmark gathering.
Convened under the theme “Governance 2030: Resilient Institutions for a Digital, Green & Secure Africa,” APSCA 2026 marks seven years of advancing public sector excellence and cross-border innovation.
Organised by InstinctWave Group, the conference will feature 12 specialised forums examining critical development priorities, including Governance and Institutional Leadership, Women in the Public Sector, Energy, Public Procurement, Public Finance, Trade, Digital Government, Education, Public-Private Partnerships, ESG and Sustainability, Customer Experience, and Youth Empowerment.
The summit will also host the Made in Africa Festival, the premier exhibition showcasing homegrown public-sector solutions, technology, trade, and economic opportunities. Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will assume a prominent role, with National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda leading a high-powered delegation of governors, ministers, and public policy leaders. He is expected to deliver a keynote address titled “The Party as Platform: How Governing Parties Can Architect Digital, Green and Secure Governance for 2030,” positioning governing parties as active architects of institutional development beyond electoral cycles.
Kenya will also bring significant weight to the conversation. Hon. Felix Koskei, Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, will lead the Kenyan delegation, which includes senior government officials and leaders of public institutions and state-owned enterprises. Kenya will further showcase its public-sector innovations at the Made in Africa Festival, creating a valuable platform for knowledge exchange between two of Africa’s most influential democracies.
Ghana’s own National Petroleum Authority (NPA) will serve as Gold Sponsor and lead the Africa Energy Governance & Sustainable Development Forum. The forum will bring together policymakers, regulators, and energy executives to examine how stronger governance, regulation, and investment can expand energy access, support industrialisation, and build more resilient energy systems across the continent.
